I have been slack posting anything creative lately. Work is hectic, with a milestone fast approaching and weekend work in the “optional, but you’ll suffer if you don’t so it’s not really optional at all” category. Besides, I’ve been feeling despondant. I only use the word because it’s slightly outside common vocabulary and makes me feel moderately intelligent, in stark contrast to my efforts of the last week to comprehend some 2D game related math. A situation that is even more frustrating due to vague memories of mastering this stuff in high school. I fear that I am… dumb.

I decided to run with the whole 90’s chic that I accidently hit upon with the “boon” logo, and pushed it further tonight. Whippyx pointed out that the site looks like it belongs to some dark, expensive cocktail lounge where people sip overpriced drinks and browse magazines about overpriced watches. Not what I was going for, but it’s good enough for me HAHA! So that’s my creative bit for today. I’ll see if I can push it a bit further tomorrow.

Well, my creative effort for today involved reskinning the blog. I had two previous attempts, both of which looked something like what I imagine a vomiting rainbow would look like. This one I’m much happier with, cliche 90’s logo and all. It’s now 9:48pm and apparently a freak wormhole sucked the last 3 hours out of my life, so I’m going to very creatively go to bed.
